After more than 15 years as a makeup artist, María Catalá has become a leading professional in her field.
Maria has created her own style, recognizable and respected, which she has shared in her online and face-to-face training with more than 20,000 people.
Her way of interpreting makeup and getting involved in all phases of the process has led her to collaborate with major brands and projects.
During the last two years, she has achieved such relevant milestones as creating the Beauty & Masters platform, which has more than 23,000 subscribers, giving her first international training in Colombia, helping to build a hair salon in Ethiopia thanks to her MUM Solidarity Makeup Marathon, or participating in the development of products for other brands, such as her highlighter with Saigu, named after her and which sold out in a few hours.
Today, María has decided to embark on a new path by creating her own brand, María Catalá Beauty . A brand that aims to combine quality, efficiency, design, and sustainability.

What materials are paintbrushes made of?
The fibers in our brushes are 100% synthetic. At MCB, we want to demonstrate that, with the necessary knowledge and standards, it is possible to create vegan brushes of the same quality as natural hair brushes, without contributing to animal suffering.
Is MCB cruelty-free?
Yes, MCB is and always will be cruelty-free. Although European regulations prohibit animal testing, there are still countries where, by law, these tests are required for importing cosmetics. We will never market our products in countries where our ethics and values are compromised.
Where are paintbrushes manufactured?
Our brushes have been designed in Spain by María Catalá, with a fully customized and made-to-measure design. They are manufactured in China in one of the leading factories for synthetic fibers and sustainable materials.
Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, our brushes feature a custom filament blend that is completely safe for all skin types, even the most sensitive.
How should I wash my paintbrushes?
We recommend washing your brushes with water and a mild, neutral soap, both before and after each makeup application. Once clean, we recommend removing excess moisture with a paper towel and then letting them dry on a flat surface.
